In addition to the score you'll see in Web Branch, you can create an account on our My Credit Score site (located at uwcucreditscores.org), where you'll have access to additional tools.
When you log in to My Credit Score, you'll receive your credit score updates on a monthly basis. In addition, the site provides a Credit Report Card so you can see how each element of your credit history is impacting your score. Also, you’ll be able to compare your credit to others' scores nationally and in your state to know where you stand. Finally, you’ll be able to simulate how different financial decisions you might make in the future could impact your credit score. It is the perfect educational tool to help you understand what goes into your credit score.
We are extremely excited to offer this new service to you free of charge. We feel strongly that knowing your credit score is an important piece to understanding your complete financial picture. To get started, log in to Web Branch and look for the new "Personal Credit Score Summary" section at the bottom of your Account Summary page.

This is really great that you're offering this. I've wanted to know my actual score for quite a while, and it seems the services on the site are pretty robust.
ReplyDelete"Finally, you’ll be able to simulate how different financial decisions you might make in the future could impact your credit score." Unfortunately, it seems this doesn't include paying off a loan early (student loans in my case).
I love this feature. Getting your report for free (annualcreditreport.com) is nice, but you never see your score. This is a fantastic service to members.
ReplyDeleteThis is great; thank you! As always, UWCU is focussed on great customer service. This is why I still bank with you while residing in Colorado!
ReplyDeleteThis is great and another reason to keep my accounts at UWCU.
ReplyDeleteUW Credit Union has always been my favorite bank - best overall experience, best mobile banking and now raising the bar again with free credit scores! Kudos for continuously finding ways to impress!
ReplyDeleteI have been subscribing to CreditSecure for the past year as a way to access my score and report at anytime but it costs me $150 a year. I pay it for peace of mind and access. This new feature is what I have been waiting for to save me time and money. Thank you, UWCU!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great service! Thanks so much. I especially like the Credit Score simulator, which illustrates how adding debt, paying off debt, etc. would affect my credit score. UW Credit Union ROCKS!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great feature! One more reason why the quality of services provided by UWCU is unbeatable.
ReplyDeleteCool service thank you.....
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful feature. UWCU was my first bank account ten years ago when I first came here, and you keep giving me reasons to do business with you four years after I left Wisconsin. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice but only allows you to do it for one person on the account. It should allow for two people to be able to access their credit scores on a joint account.
ReplyDeleteIf the joint person would like to see their credit score, they should login to Web Branch using their separate member number.
ReplyDeleteThanks VERY much.
ReplyDeleteA note about the signup - please check my username's availability before I enter password & secret answer, so I don't have to do it twice
Since your username is your e-mail address, you shouldn't have an issue with someone else using it. If you had signed up for Credit Karma on your own, then you can't use the same e-mail as that account.
ReplyDeleteI love this credit union and the services they provide. Thanks for all the great service.
ReplyDeleteGreat tool, but I'm not seeing any quarterly updates on the Account Summary page.
ReplyDeleteThe next update will appear on the account summary in mid-January. They'll refresh every three months after that.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason why I love UWCU. You're on my side. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhile the email notification is nice, I would like to see more detail available once I sign in to My Credit Score.
ReplyDeleteFor example, a hard credit inquiry has a negative impact on your score but the site does not provide information on who made the inquiry.
This additional information would be great way to alert customers of possible fraudulent activity on their account...
